Icicle TV is a fantastic sight focusing on the community and environment around the Leavenworth area, and how choose to interact with our landscape. They cover important news for our community like School Board Elections as well as produce award winning films including "Tumwater Solitude," which you may have caught on the Banff Mountain Film Festival and is available on their website.
If there is one magazine that embodies the culture of Cascadia, I believe it is Coast Mountain Culture. Covering adventures, craft brewers, innovative music, art, culture, and history, CMC tells the stories that make our region so uniquely wonderful. Plus it's free and probably available at one of your favorite outdoor hubs in the PNW.
In the Summer 2015 Issue, CMC graciously published my piece discussing the Summer Meltdown Music Festival's positive impacts on the local community mere months after the Oso Landslide, which claimed the lives of 43 residents in the countries deadliest landslide. While the community is still healing from this tragedy, Meltdown hopes to be good medicine for the people. |

This project was launched by my father as a dream job in 2006. Since then, he hasn't quite quit his day job, but has published several wine touring guide books including Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Walla Walla. I contributed several photos and some writing to this project.
