I work to find time to write between my many seasonal gigs including training new white water guides, ski and mountain bike patrolling, hosting pub trivia, pouring beers, and teaching special education at the Tierra Learning Center, where I live just north of Leavenworth, WA.  I earned a BA in English - Creative Writing from the University of Montana and attended the Leadership Education and Cultural Learning Program at Portland State's Graduate School of Education.
